Equipment

  • Medium or Large Blender (700 watts minimum)

Ingredients

  • 1½ cup frozen seedless watermelon cubes
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup plant milk
  • ⅓ cup plain plant based yogurt
  • 1 to 3 tsp fresh ginger, grated or finely minced* (or sub with ¼ to ½ tsp ground ginger)**
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in the bowl of a blender and process until smooth.
  • Makes approximately 30 ounces which makes for 1 huge smoothie, 2 large smoothies, or 3 medium smoothies.

Notes

* If your blender is not very powerful it's a better idea to use grated ginger because minced ginger may not get fully incorporated.
**The amount of ginger is a very personal thing. Using 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger results in a mild heat level while 3 teaspoons is an intense level of heat.
